fnatic have announced that they will be competing in the EPS Nordic league after all.
The Swedish giants had announced earlier this week their decision to miss out on the Scandinavian league due to not having the necessary time to prepare for it, with several offline events coming up.
fnatic have now revoked their decision after talks with the EPS Nordic staff, and will begin their story in the league once they return from MSI BEAT IT in Beijing next week.
"After several discussions with the staff from ESL we came to the conclusion that FnaticMSI would return to the EPS season and we will take up the race to win the title when we come back from Beijing where we are now participating in the MSI Beat it finals," fnatic captain Patrik "cArn" Sattermon told the team's website.
"I would like to use this moment to thank ESL for listening to our concerns and we do hope the upcoming season will run smoothly. I also want to send my apologizes to the community for the confusion we have caused in the past week but I promise we will pay you back in terms of intensive games in the season 3."
